Can anybody explain how the Alpha and Omega can have a brother? Jesus is the Creator, Lucifer was created. A Jesus who exists as Lucifer’s brother is no more real than Henry Ford being the brother to his car. How does the First and the Last create an equal? The Lord Jesus Christ made the worlds (Hebrews 1:2).
The Lord made the heavens and its hosts (Psalm 33:6). The Son made “all things” (John 1:3). So how much is “all things”? Jesus created the dominions of angels, which includes the devils and Lucifer (Colossians 1:16-17; Ezekiel 28:13-15). While Jesus Christ exists from eternity past (Micah 5:2), Satan is a mere created being. Make no mistake, they can never be brothers.

Ya know Brother Ed, even if I was not a Christian, and had no idea what to believe…would I EVER think that something like this would even sound like right and proper doctrine. Come on, Jesus and the devil are BROTHERS? People really believe that?? That’s like saying that oil and water mix well!! The more insight you offer into the Mormon religion, the more I am profoundly GRATEFUL I was saved by the blood of Jesus Christ!! You have opened my eyes more than you know and I have actually been able to take some of these teachings into the community.

I’m sorry but that can’t be true about Ed. You see I have come to the conclusion that Atheists do not exist! For a person to know for a fact that there is no God then he or she would have to have “ALL Knowledge” and no one has “ALL Knowledge” so the only answer is that “Atheists do not exist!”
So, where did Lucifer come from? Jesus created all things, so if Lucifer is a created being, it follows that Jesus created him. Why?

I’ve read the above chapter of Isaiah many times. It describes Lucifer’s actions and his fate, but does not help us to answer my question, “Why did Jesus create Satan?” Knowing all things, he knew Lucifer would fall and become the deceiver of nations, before he created him. Why then did he create him? Doesn’t this ultimately make Jesus accountable for all the misery Satan has wrought upon mankind?
