Roman Catholicism Pt. 2

With Ed Decker

Because of the complexities of Roman Catholicism and the many ‘traditions of men’ that it has weaved throughout its system, one week was not enough to deal with the many heresies of Catholicism such as the worship and adoration of Mary, praying to saints, transubstantiation, the confessional and others. Ed finishes up his teaching and gives the listeners the solid evidences they need to look at this subject from the biblical perspective. Dear Ed,

I was listening to your report this week on the infiltration of catholicism in the church. I felt as though you almost gave creedence to the catholic church as you said they had the essential Christian doctrines and some added traditions.

Personally I believe that if the catholic parishners believe what the papacy teaches they are as lost as they come. Furthermore the Jesus they claim to worship is a different Jesus that the bible and that makes it a false religion. I do not consider catholicism a cult because cults have different markings, though equally a quick way to hell.

I kinda felt a need from you to be “politically” correct with this subject to not offend the catholics, whereas you do not do this with the mormons or other false teachings.

Catholics worship a different jesus that is incomplete in his atonement, and needs a co-forgiver of sin to be complete in their eyes. This is not just some different traditions but a different system altogether.

Love your teachings but sometimes, you just gotta say it out loud, even if it hurts.

> Thanks for the note.. you are right in most of what you have said..wish
you had blogged it as a comment where others could read it and I could
Publicly respond..

I made a small [comment about an] actual doctrine within Catholicism that does adhere to
Biblical doctrine and then spent two full weeks going through the error. I
should have perhaps asked the listeners and readers to make their own
assessments as to whether it is heresy or full separation from
Christianity.

I believe that the CATHOLIC church is fully corrupt yet there are some
few Christians here and there within the church who cling to the 5 or 10
% that does have Christian roots.

Most “Christians” within the church leave within a few years of becoming
born again.

Since the article and the programs, I have been hit by a large number of
apologetics from strong Catholics and the material may end up in another
article and program, showing the tremendous power of Maryism that has gone
beyond even my earlier research.. It actually has replaced Christ and
the Cross.
