HEY, ED! BY THE WAY, I FINALLY found PARTS 1 AND 2 of the “MORMON MANUSCRIPTS” of which I originally had 3 and 4 of.
ANYWAY, I’m in the process of downloading the “CHARACTER OF GOD” lesson, and I HOPE that my question’s ON TOPIC, but what I wanna ask is: knowing that it says (I BELIEVE that it’s 1 PETER 3-15, but correct me if I’m mistaken) that we are to be prepared to give an answer–I’m not ENTIRELY CLEAR on how the ENTIRE VERSE reads, but how do I answer someone who says that the CATHOLIC CHURCH, and NOT GOD, HIMSELF, was the one that decided what the BIBLE should be, which WE know is a COMPLETE HELL-CONCOCTED LIE, of course?
The scripture is: 1 Peter 3:15-16
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. KJV
Suggest that you loom at the referenced “quick look only ” at the canonizing of the scriptures. What the Catholics have is somewhat different
than what you will find in the KJV.
