In this report it was stated that John the baptist ate things that were forbidden by the Levitical Priesthood. This is untrue. John the baptist ate locust and honey.
Leviticus 11:22 – Even of these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Matthew 3:4 – And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leather girdle about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
Please explain what things John the baptist ate that were forbidden.

as to the food there was nothing that was not allow that John the Baptize could eat as a priesthood of the Levitical . there is no record of him being a priest in the levitical order. even if his father was the high priest of that order.

Were all prophets priests? I gather in order to be a prophet one doesn’t need to be a priest. The greatest is John the baptist.

Is Mitt Romney a Morman Prophet? Given he is a prophet of the Morman faith, will he be expected by the Morman faith to save the country by altering the U.S.Constitution thus fullfilling Smith’s prophecy?

No, he is the subject of the Mormon Prophet and has sworn blood oaths to answer to and obey and support the prophet
above everything else in his life.

Are there many Morman Prophets? Does Romney answer to all Morman Prophets or is he assigned a Prophet? As President, Romney is told (by his prophet) to have Homeland Security detain all (less evolved) bible believing Christians then he would obey?

he only serves the current prophet, president if the church..prophet, seer and revelator..
good question doubt they would be so overt as to detain all Christians

What is the name of the president of the Morman church? What do you know about him?
Thank you. And I thank God he has placed you and the staff of Saints Alive in service.

Thomas Spencer Monson (born August 21, 1927) is an American religious leader and author, and the 16th and current President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). As president, Monson is considered by adherents of the religion to be a “prophet, seer, and revelator” of God’s will on earth. A printer by trade, Monson has spent most of his life engaged in various church leadership positions and in public service.
Monson was ordained an apostle at age 36, served in the First Presidency under three church presidents and was the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from March 12, 1995 until he became President of the Church. He succeeded Gordon B. Hinckley as church president on February 3, 2008. [from wikipedia]
