The Mormon Manuscripts and The Law of Eternal Progression

With Ed Decker

Ed continues this week in exposing the basic errors of Mormonism that separate it from Christian Orthodoxy, using material from his 4 part series, The Mormon Manuscripts. This week, Ed reveals the cultic nature of its core theological axiom, “As man is god once was; as god is, man may become.” From that one strange adage, stems most of the unbiblical basis for LDS beliefs. Listen as Ed lays it all out in simple terms.

Mr. Decker,
In all the efforts to delineate the Mormon errors, I find many issues I would love to engage. However, the task seems overwhelming. Let me just ask you this one question: How do you define God?

I would like to read or listen to everything that the Decker report has to share; I know of some of the real carnals stuff that goes on before a couple are wed and that is absolutely sinful and wrong..it is almost and could be licentious depending upon the rogue that is having the new bride to be disrobe and let him play with her body. I also know that the Book of Mormon has been rewritten at leastd 38 times and that comes from a Bible teaching minister of age old…no reason to fib this one; I also know that they think they will be the only ones that get to heaven..did I miss something within the Bible walls?

Barb, sorry to tell you this, but the disrobing is not part of the LDS Temple wedding ceremony,
but part of a ritual called the endowment that is done individually by both men and women prior
to them being sealed in a ceremony that is very short and done while they are fully clothed.

In the first ritual of the whole set of rituals,Both men and women strip nude in a lower floor
locker room and place a white, shoulder width ‘shield’ or poncho type covering over their upper bodies
and then are led into a ‘washing and anointing’ room where temple workers of the same sex
ceremonially wash and anoint with oil, key parts of the body.

Weird enough to freak out many ladies.. and extremely cultic in every aspect. they are then given the
‘magic’ sacred underwear with masonic markings to wear 24 hours a day.. given a secret new name and sent
upstairs to continue on their mystical journey.and eventual celestial marriage.
