Some discernment ministries claim the Seventh Day Adventist organization is Christian. Yet, as Ed has studied this out, he can come to no other conclusion but that the organization is a cult. In this week’s program, Ed goes through the many reasons for his position and clearly explains the non-biblical foundations of that faith that put it decidedly outside Christian Orthodoxy.

I heard Doug Bachelor (the current mouthpiece of the Adventists) say on “Amazing Facts,” that the reason Noah ate meat, was because he was a Jew, in response to a question from the audience. They are so Biblically ignorant, they didn’t even realize that Noah was not a Jew.
I thought you did a great job on this teaching. They truly are a cult and a dishonest one at that. Keep up the good work Ed.
Ed, as a life-long Seventh-day Adventist, I’ve followed your ministry for many years. You have trained me well to recognize lies. Unfortunately, your script http://mmoutreachinc.com/seventh_day_adventists/sda_facts.html fails on that account.
For example, your script says:
“People are never told at Seminars that if they become SDA’s and are baptized, a recording angel is watching their every move to determine their salvation eventually. EGW issues this warning in The Faith I Live By, page 210, “Every man’s work passes in review before God…Opposite each name in the books of heaven is entered, with terrible exactness, every wrong word, every selfish act, every unfulfilled duty, and every secret sin, with every artful dissembling. Heaven-sent warnings or reproofs neglected, wasted moments, unimproved opportunities, the influence exerted for good or for evil, with its far-reaching results, all are chronicled by the recording angel.”"
The script tells us that *only* baptized SDAs are chronicled by the recording angel, (or that *only* baptized SDAs are *told* that), but the quote doesn’ seem to support that assertion.
Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment”, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.”
Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”
The MacGregor script has many other “targets of opportunity”, but another time.
Ed. As an ordained SDA pastor, I have to say that if your research is sound and Adventists really teach and believe what you have communicated, we are indeed a cult. However, the picture you’ve painted of Adventism in no way resembles the church I am a part of. You mentioned at the beginning of your podcast that you’ve done hours of research, but yet you never talked to an Adventist. Rather, your research consisted of reading from a website that has twisted facts, faulty research and a distorted view of history. I have been in ministry for 16 years, and never have I taught publicly or privately ANY of the supposed beliefs you listed. I would encourage you to do some better fact checking.
